Georgian Association Tvistomi is currently the only National non-profit organization established to directly serve the vast and growing Georgian community in the United States.The mission of “Tvistomi association” is to strengthen and support the Georgian-American community. Create and generate Georgian Diaspora as one strong organization that can help and assist Georgian immigrants in easy and smooth adaptation, cultural transition and integration to American society, in order to help to keep multicultural, peaceful America. Act as representative and voice of the community. Tvistomi Association web site as Georgian Community Web Portal is the main project for today together with Healthcare Center (CHC) on the base of Tvistomi Medical Group Reestablishing new Georgian Ethnographic and recreational center “Alaverdi-2” Developing a real base for community small business development and Financial support, Georgian Bank and Insurance ,” Immigrants Policy”. Georgian Advocacy Programs: 1.Legal issues 2.Healthcare and Insurance issues 3.Social issues Meanwhile we are represented on social and professional networks such us Linkedin, Facebook,idealist.org etr. but without proper knowledge and experience and well orginized website (we are going to set up Drupal CMS site) achieve our goals will be impossible.
